how much do you think Iphone cost to make? if the price goes for $199 and $299, depending on memory, how much it cost to manufacture it?
Research firm iSuppli says Apple Inc.'s latest iPhone costs just a few dollars more to make than the previous model.
That analysis comes despite the new iPhone 3GS having new features like a better camera and video-recording capabilities.
ISuppli said on 6/24 that its breakdown of the 3GS indicates the smaller 16-gigabyte model costs $178.96, mostly for parts, including $24 for flash memory. ISuppli estimates manufacturing is $6.50 of that amount.

Iphone selling more then ever.
Again, apple proved he is master of it`s domain with over a million phones sold in the past weekend.
Apple's customers have wasted no time scooping up its latest smartphone and operating system update.
The sales figure even prompted Apple CEO Steve Jobs to make his first public comment since going on medical leave early this year.
"Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning," Jobs said in a statement. "With over 50,000 applications available from Apple's revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever."

Nokia E72 is here to stay!
After "leaking" a promotional video over the weekend Nokia have officially unveiled the E72 - their new QWERTY smartphone followup to the fantastic E71- at the Connection 09 event in Singapore.
Compared to its none-too-old brother, the E72 will see its camera bumped up to 5 megapixels along with the addition of an integrated compass, an optical navigation key (not unlike the BlackBerry Gemini's) and sensibly a 3.5mm headphone jack. Nokia say the S60 handset features a "desktop like email experience" and will begin shipping third quarter of 2009 for $485 without contract.

Twitter on cell phone?
Cell Phone producer INQ Mobile wants to launch a Twitter phone before 2009 Christmas sales season! Seems like very popular internet social platform is moving above the net parameters. Micro-blogging is becoming more and more popular in the eyes of users so it makes perfectly sense to try to move it to broader audience.
The handset would be the first mass-market phone with an Internet-based Twitter client. By using Internet connections you will be able to send 140-character text messages to your "followers" .
Its worth of mentioning that INQ Mobile has sold over 700,000 handsets since the launch of its Skype phone in 2007. For more news on Twitter Phone go to additional resources.
